X-mas already?!!

I started my X-mas early. I purchased a few goodies and I can't wait till I get them delivered!! YAY :-)

Make the best of it!

I was at a layover for Thansgiving but lucky enough the hotel had a nice dinner menu:
I had a great steak with garlic mashed potatoe and string beans.A long with a glass of white wine and to finish it up a nice chocolate cake! YUMMY!!



Was a bit tired after a long day at work that just threw on some jeans a top and pumps!

WISHING YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I'm on the 2nd day of a 4 day trip. Laying over in Washington D.C for the night. Had a good dinner with the crew even though I sure miss having a home made dinner with the family. Will post up pics soon.

I'm grateful for everything God has put in my life. Everything that has been given to me and for the chance to wake up every morning to enjoy the best gift of all> LIFE and LOVE!

Busy lately

I have been a bit busy with work and getting things ready for my move to NYC! This is a pic I took on a layover in NY a few days back. I stood in a very nice hotel in Long Island. Uh-oh!

I decided to play around with my blog and it didn't turn out well. I have made it a little better than the actual result I got previously. I'm a bit tired now as to try to fix it up. Got back today from a 3 day trip, which included a red eye turn from San Jose, California to NYC. The flights were a bit overwhelming. I'M EXTREMELY SLEEPY!

I'm on a 2 day trip and at a layover at the moment in Washington D.C so I have no outfit post for the day. But i do have a few pics of a few NEW goodies i have purchased! Especially shoes! YAY, will most likely share them with you guys tonight.

Now i have to get ready to head to the airport in a little over an hr!

My last day in NY! :-(. Exactly 2 more weeks and i'm back in NY for good!
Decided to wear my gray leather jacket for the 2nd day in a row. I just love the color!

Finally some pics in the outdoors. I'm improving hehe. These pics were taken right before I headed to Aldo's 2 get my new shoes! YAY as well as H&M dress which told me "Take me with you, don't put me back" as soon as I tried it on! Finally went to AA and got thigh high socks( gray and black )!

My "4ever Crush" gave me the best surprises ever! Well and last year to for my BDAY!

He basically got me things that I WANTED and had posted a few weeks back on another post. But the best part is the details he puts behind it all and the sequence!(When you think that's it and more comes!hehe <3 1st of He got me a Bday Cupcake from Crumbs (Red velvet, which I love)

He had 2 cupcake boxes so i thought it was just cupcakes one for each. Little did i know if his surprising plans when i opened the box:

Paranormal it is!

This pic is from a few days back. I went out to the movies with my "4ever crush" to see the ultra low budget movie "Paranormal Activity". Which i have to say I was expecting it to be scarier. I don't like scary movies at all and i mean at all. I, for most part go to the movies to have a good laugh, watching comedy movies! LOVE THEM! But decided to change things up a bit. Any how I guess the fact that it wasn't as scary as i thought it would be(except for the end) made it a bit more believeable. Hey, the best horror movies are the ones that exploit our deep-seated anxieties about real-life events. Paranormal Activity i guess hits just the right panic buttons inside the brain: the familiar fear of the creaky, empty house at night(which I admit i have experience such anxiety after living alone). Anyhow if you decide to go out and see it, ENJOY!

Simple yet tasty in San Juan

Hotel in San Juan Puerto Rico, Isla Verde area




I have been in Florida for the past 2 days trying to get everything ready for my move back to NYC!!(YEEEAAAHHH!). I had a quick layover in San Juan, Puerto Rico on my last trip. Decided to go outside of the resort area and for once out of my hotel room and went for a mini walk to a local restaurant "Don Jose". I have to say I was so pleased! I had "Churrasco" (skirt steak) and "tostones" (green plantains). This meal was perfection! the steak was rich in flavor and so tender! I had not enjoyed a simple meal in a long time. To top it off had tres leches for dessert!:-) Had a great time with my crew as well. Going back to "Don Jose" on my next SJU layover, hopefully next time with my 4ever crush.:-)


I'm still dwelling a bit on the fact that I NEED a better camera, PRONTO!
